A prerequisite for an optimized production is the design of the correct zinc casting tool. That means a zinc casting tool capable of producing a continous quality in series up to 500.000 pcs., and with a tool lifetime of 1-2 million operations.
Would you like a mother tool with inserts?
If you need to combine different versions of zinc parts or cast several parts for the same product etc., then the tool can be made as a mother tool with inserts. That means, that we can use one common tool frame for several zinc parts. The mother tool can be your property or you can use one of ours. Thereby reducing the initial investment without compromising the flexibility as example if you need to make many changes and additions in the beginning of a development project.
Special features
Based on your requirements for the finished parts we advise how the casting tool and zinc parts must be designed and constructed. In addition we offer to make simulations of the casting process with the use of simulation software. This applies if you have complicated zinc parts or parts with special requirements such as permability minimization or extra high surface requirements.
Casting simulation
We make the casting simulation in close cooperation with you. You define the specifications and wishes for the design and we process it using 3D software. Inlet, vents, filling and vacuum is simulated and results in a 3D model where we have taken the weight, strength and visual form into account. On a basis of the simulation it is possible to make a budget for tool investments and production of zinc parts.
We store your casting tools.
Linimatic will store your and other customers tools in a fire safe part of our storage, and will maintain them as part of our agreement as long as the tools are active and in operation. You will make insurance of the tools.
